Our company kicked off with a simple mission: to provide custom high-quality design solutions specific to our clients needs. Established in 2020, Fifth & River Design was born with a vision to elevate the world of interior design through meticulous craftsmanship and style.
As we grew, so did our dreams. Which led us to opening up our very own showroom in Holland, Michigan. This space allows current and prospective clients to come in, feel inspired, and experience everything we have to offer.
We have grown to be company that strives for perfection in the execution of our design. We understand that it’s not just about creating beautiful interiors, but also about making spaces that enhance the way people live.
Today, we continue to be a company driven by perfection. From concept to execution, we pour our heart and soul into every project, striving to exceed expectations at every turn. Ben brings us all together with his eagerness and drive to function as a team. He founded Fifth & River through his love for the custom home industry. Ben’s years of carpentry have brought our design team a better understanding for the construction process.
His passion for the design-build industry stems from his belief that everyone deserves their dream home. He brings a positive and exciting energy to the home-building experience. Outside of work, he raises whitetail deer and spends time with his wife and five kids.

Hollie has been with Fifth & River Design from the start. She has creative design ideas paired with industry knowledge that makes her stand above. She works with her whole heart, as the art of interior design came naturally to her.
Hollie’s commitment to her craft shines through in every project, where she puts time and energy into creating thoughtful and innovative designs that truly stand out. Her free time is spent raising her two sweet girls. You can also find her out on the volleyball and pickleball court enjoying some friendly competition.

Nikki plays a crucial role in keeping projects running smoothly by managing the financial and operational aspects. She assists clients in any way in order to help the construction come with ease. Her attention to detail and expertise in building accurate project estimates ensure that everything goes according to plan.
Nikki helps formulate orders and drawings for our favorited cabinetry lines. In her free time, she loves to spend time at her cottage, tackle a DIY project, and spend time with family.

Hannah brings creativity, organization, and fresh ideas to our team! She excels in creating detailed interior renderings, meeting with clients to bring their visions to life, and ensuring that all aspects of the project stay on track. She helps develop design ideas through the lens of her artistic and detailed eye.
Hannah began investing in interior design at a young age and continues to pursue her passion. When she is not at work, you can find Hannah hanging out with friends, going for runs, and watercolor painting.
Hollie has exquisite design sense, of course, but what really distinguishes her is the ability to demystify and guide clients towards the very best solution for them.
